Tarka Trail Camping has everything you need to enjoy calm and peaceful camping in Touring Caravans, Campervans, Motorhomes and Tents in North Devon’s tranquil surroundings.
Our brand new, heated, spacious amenity block is kept fastidiously clean, with modern hot showers and toilets, separate disabled facilities and family bathroom. Baby changing table, free hairdryers, liquid hand soap and eco hand dryers are all available.
Large hard standing EHU and grass pitches allow plenty of room for your Tent, Caravan or Motorhome and Awning, with space to relax beside. Numerous picnic tables and benches are sited throughout the campsite, which you are welcome to move onto your pitch if required.
Our dishwashing room with free hot water is provided, as well as plenty of fresh water drinking taps sited located throughout the Campsite. Useful information about our facilities are detailed below:
Bike racks are situated opposite Reception on the approach into the Campsite. These are free and available at a first come, first served basis. Please take advantage of the gate located at the corner of the Camp Site with direct access on to the Tarka Trail and beyond via steps and a bike ramp.
Thoroughly cleaned twice daily, our newly built amenity block has separate male and female toilets, modern hot showers and underfloor heating. Our family bathroom comes equipped with a toilet, sink and shower with a baby changing table available in the Ladies. For our disabled guests we have a disabled wet room with accessible shower and shower seat, toilet and sink.
We have 18 Electric Hook Up Pitches available with plenty of room for your car and Caravan/Campervan/Motorhome and Awning, with space to relax beside. Electric is charged at a flat rate per night basis and should be selected at time of booking to ensure you are assigned the correct pitch type.
For our disabled guests we have a disabled wet room with accessible shower and shower seat, toilet and sink, accessed via an accessibility ramp. The Campsite is generally level with good access roads. Please indicate when booking if you require use of the disabled facilities.
To the side of the amenity block is a spacious indoor dishwashing room with two double drainer sinks and free hot water.
Follow the path around beyond the Dishwashing Room for the Chemical Toilet Disposal area which includes a large grey water waste sink. Please use the water hose provided to rinse and clean as necessary. A drive-over Motorhome sluice drain is also available.
Dogs are not permitted inside the toilet and shower blocks or in the Dishwashing Room. Doggy Clips are provided outside these facilities for securing your dogs. Please keep dogs on a lead at all times whilst on the Campsite, and please ensure they are tethered at your pitch when not inside your caravan/motorhome/tent.
Located at the front of the amenity block between the ladies and gents shower/toilets, is a free charging point for mobile phones, power banks etc. Campers leave their belongings here at their own risk and charging points must be used on a first come, first served basis.
The recycling and rubbish point is situated beyond Reception and clearly marked. We do ask that everyone recycles their rubbish using the recycling bins and leaves their pitch clean and tidy on departure.
